I took my car in to get looked at because my car was pulling to left. The place showed me that I needed a new ball joint in the front driver's side and I had to take it to the dealer or another garage because they only do alignments. My question is how much is this going to cost me for parts and labor. I have a 93 SHO ATX. Thanx.

You could call around to the shops in your area to determine which could do the service and for how much.

SHONUT sells the lower control arm with ball joint (only way to fix it is replace unit) for around $75. SHouldn't cost too much to fit it. In fact, with a few tools and a few beers you could probably tackle it in a short afternoon if you are so inclined. I just replaced my pass. side cotrol arm and strut rod the other day (strut rod will take a little more time).

9 times out of 10, pulling is cause by tires. I would cross rotate your front tires just to make sure it truly is the ball joint, and to rule out tires. Obviously don't leave the wheels like that since they'll look stupid! I believe I can get the greasable balljoint for 63 shipped if you are needing it.
