I was looking to upgrade my front brakes to the baer track system on my 93. I have already upgraded the spindles to a 94. For those of you who have them, where is the cheapest place to get them. Baer quoted me a price of $600. What has everyone else paid? Thank you in advance for any info you can give me.

I have a '91 so my would have new steering knuckles, hubs, bearings, etc. They quoted me $895.00 plus $120 for slotted/drilled.Isay would have because I was going to get them but since they changed calipers recently, they won't fit under the slicers. frown

I just picked up a set of PBR two piston calipers from www.discbrakesrus.com. Pretty much the same setup, near as I can tell. I got the loaded calipers and brackets from them for like $250, found slotted and drilled rotors on e-bay and had them drilled out for $25 at a local machine shop. I went to two or three shops to find that price though....

You can also buy the complete set from discbrakesrus.com for $429 .

Did you go through Baer directly or a middle man like SHO Shop or SpMotorsports for that price?

RI-SHO,
I got that price directly from Baer.(602)233-1411,talked to Craig.Their part # is e9ft-10120-5gn.That's $895 for basic kit.$120 for cross drill/gas slotted.Basic kit is spindles,bearings,hubs,rotors,brackets,calipers.Complete bolt in system(dual piston calipers by the way).Like I said,I thought it was a good system,reasonable price(better than '96 upgrade,cheaper than TCE/Shostopper)but I really want my slicers. frown
