Ok so yesterday i was driving down some road and i decided to turn around. I found some intersection to turn around in.. well while i was turning i heard a big crunch come from the front of my car and well.. i was stuck makin a left turn untill i forceibally turned the wheel to straighten out. i got outta my car and looked but everything looked okay.. I continued to drive and when i would turn the wheel to the left it would just lock it self there. It was pretty scary drivin home... but what do you guys think i should do? would this happen to be a sign of a bad diff?

sounds to me like a broken spring in the front. Definitley a suspension problem though... I've had 3 focus' come in with the same problem, ended up one front spring was broken

In addition to the spring mentioned by James, check for a failed subframe mounting bolt.

In any event, this is a critical safety issue and the vehicle should not be driven until the problem is identified and corrected.
