Ok, before I wrote this post I searched on the forum for other people that have delt with this problem and none of them seem to be as bad as this! I have a 89 SHO and the other day it started to vibrate really really bad and its hard to get into gear. I think when the car is off its not as bad to get into gear but revearse is really hard. I'm not talking about the usuall miner clutch pedal vibration... its more of if you stand and look at the car idling you can actually see the whole car shaking... its bad! I guess what I was wondering was if the pressure plate has fingers broke off of or if the bolts on the pressure plate or flywheel come untight will it make the car shake that bad? Any feedback would help! thanks!

You are on the right track. Keep the car off the road until you replace the pressure plate.
