As the title states, any time I go over 90, I get an instant burned rubber/oil smell. Gaskets?? I just replaced the valve cover gaskets about 2000 miles ago. Is it the cam seals? Is that a tough job? Your input will be appreciated.

Thanks
Adam

Maybe your belts and/or alternator frying?

Check the back side of the rear bank to see if it's dry. It could be oil I suppose, do you see any evidence of a leak where the car is parked? Do you see any smoke from the engine bay.

The rear bank is fine. No smoke, no smell, until 90mph then it smells like a combination of burnt oil and rubber.

I thought at first it might be my rear valve cover, since I did the gaskets myself for the first time, I thought maybe I didn't get it to seat right on the head, but I did, and it hasn't leaked yet.

Nope, doesn't happen at any other speed or RPM range. Just when I'm out on the highway and get it to over 90, the smell comes in an instant.
