My 93 MTX will run and perform as normal the majority of the time, but randomly it will buck and chug followed by the CEL as if the CID or CPS were bad. Then I notice that the oil level is low, really low. 30 minutes later the car runs fine and oil level is ok. Has anyone ever experienced these symptoms caused by the oil getting trapped up in the heads causing the low oil level sensor to go off? Is that at all common with the SHOs? Or something similar to that?

low oil level sensor or low oil PRESSURE sensor? if pressure, then your rod bearings are due most likely...and/or oil pump.

the sensors do not normally cause a miss in the engine...that would be most likely caused by oil in the spark plug wells (caused by deteriorated gaskets = bad wires and/or plugs), or a faulty coil pack

A bad CID or a bad ground in the system could casue those symptoms. Follow the above link and find out what your CE is saying.

Oil does not get trapped in the heads of a SHO motor. In order to have an accurate oil reading the car needs to sit for awhile on level ground......

Here's the codes I pulled both KOEO and KOER:

551 Problem in Intake Manifold Runner Control (IMRC) solenoid/circuit - Solenoids
211 (M) Ignition PIP signal was erratic or missing - Ignition Systems
214 (M) Error in Cylinder ID (CID) circuit or signal - Ignition Systems
528 (M) System shows voltage at pin 10 (is A/C on ?) or pin 30 (PNP, CPP switch) - PNP
538 (R) System did not receive "goose" test

Any recommendations? I appreciate any help with these codes.
