6th motor SHO
after like 2 weeks, the 91's running
also after many hours of dan's help and cussing and swearing
now all i need is one new manifold stud, a new doughnut gasket, and new exhaust bolts for the resonator
while working, dan got the gen II starter in, but forgot to hook up a ground, so we ran into running problems (it didn't)
then i found the positive battery cable likes to break loose, so i took a hammer to the little metal cover, and bolted the thing down till it didn't turn anymore
no more cable problems
now i just have to get used to a new clutch pedal
not too bad, just used to it being a little higher and stiffer
i have some pics of it that'll be coming soon, after i find the camera
the 6 cars (LeBaron is at school, so it was down one of my goodies) with the parts 93 on one end facing up the driveway (not in accident ever) and the black 91 facing down the driveway (not in an accident either)
in the middle... an 05 Grand Caravan with a smashed in tailgate, an 01 Cirrus with a door bent in from backing into a tree, an 04 or something Corolla that needed an entire front end and a lot of engine work after sister drove it into a ditch at about 45 mph, and the sunbird, which hit a tree and has a crack in the front bumper... the SHOs seem to be the hardy ones.... no accidents *knock on wood*
