Hey Guys and Gals,
I'm an older member that has come back to ShoForum as I have recently bought another SHO. I have been looking for quite sometime and finally found one agian. I'm located in Williamston, South Carolina... any others fairly close by?
I hope to do a few improvement/upgrades on the car over the next year or so and will probably be (well, already have, hehe) asking some questions about some of the upgrades. My list of things to do is
not in this order) 96+ brakes, Moog springs and sensa-tracs, spoiler(??),all Bushing, gen3 SFB, Remote Keyless Entry(lotsa fun!), Directional Slicers, 93+ console(maybe), newer seats, some standard bolt on engine mods, and new custom exhaust, and a full paint job... I think I like cobra Blue; time will tell!
The New addition is a 1990 SHO Mtx, White w/ Sandstone(Tan)full leather interior. It is a SHO Minus for sure and has very few options... no motorized antena or switch, no moon roof, no premium sound, no keyless entry, no spoiler, no EACT, no Factory CD, and no pass 6-way seat... about as non optioned as it gets.
There are a couple of odd things that may be aftermarket stuff... a (old style) Trunk mounted cell phone (wires/handset cradle and mount, unit is gone tho) and an Auto Alarm System (switch and plug-in under steeering column, no remote?, with sireen under the hood) that I'll be searching or asking about in the future. I'm an old/new noob again so, thanks for bareing with me!
I sure missed my old Titanium 90 mtx w/black leather (loaded) since she was retired with over 300k+ miles about 4 yrs ago (she still runs tho). There is just something about the SHO that always put a great Big Grin on my face everytime I would "drive past" someone and later they'd say, " What the **** you got in that thang ?? "... aww, it's just a lil yamaha V6... hehe!
