Back from hiatus

Hey team. I've been absent from the forum for a little over a year. After I traded my 2011 show in for a Harley Truck I thought I wouldn't return. Well, that 6.2 V8 was milking me dry. So recently I traded it in for a 2012 MKS ECOBOOST. Only had 7k miles. Even though this is the SHOforum I still feel like part of the community. Funny how far things have advanced is such little time. Here are some pics.

I've had it for about 2weeks. Last night I went crazy. Order list goes as follows

Hennessy CAI
Magnaflow exhaust
Ecoboost hard pipes with tial BOV
Livernois tuner, thermostat, plugs, and down pipe
Rk sport roof wing
Weathertech floor mats

I have to apologize to mike(bdp1151) for probly waking him up. My excitement hampered my judgement.

Great white shark roaming the streets! Since you did purchase a SHO sibling, you are excused BUT, as penitence, you do have to keep us updated with as many pics/videos/stories as you can put down in electrons!

Love the 2012 far more than the 2013 - that 2013 front end was a deal-killer for me. How does the MKS compare to the SHO in terms of performance? Did they tune the tranny differently to be more civilized?

RichinMich, it pretty much drives the same. It's quieter hands down. I remember when I worked at Chicago assembly where these were assembled, the Lincoln's have tighter specs(as far as door gaps and fitment) and they use things like thicker glass, more insulation. So fit and finish is better in my opinion. It's suppose to be cause its a Lincoln. But I'm happy with it. Just need more power

No. I've switched plants. I'm currently at Louisville Assembly Plant. Home of the ford Escape and Lincoln MKC
