B pillar Recall

Are there any updates on this?

Also fellow sufferers, what hacks have you used to secure the B-pillar? I really don't want to Crazy Glue it.

No update yet, still RNA (Remedy Not Available) and if their turnaround is anything like GM's it'll be another month or two. I used some foam 3M double sided tape (which is probably what they'll use). That stuff is pretty darn permanent though.

Went for the recall at Stamford Ford. They told me they had the part in. Well it turns out that Ford ship the fix, but it requires a special tool which the dealer said Ford hasn't supplied with.

I got a notice last week too that the "part" was in at the dealers.

The parts are available to order but must be ordered VIN specific. You have to go to your local dealership and have a repair order opened with your VIN and then they can other the parts for your car. They will not be in stock at the dealership any time soon. Ford is only shipping on a individual repair order basis. My dealership has now done three repairs to this point.
