Hey guys,

So my work vehicle is a 02 windstar with the ax4n also. I just wanted to put this out there. My work requires going house to house 1 by 1. In rural area the van was fine. In the city....I would leave the vehicle in 1st after about 4 hours of this under 10mph driving bad, got a bad sensation. I would lift off the brake and before even hitting the gas you would hear a significant clunk. Weird.

So moral of the story I wouldn't drive your v8 sho in this manner. Do a trans cooler if you are stuck in traffic frequently.

Though the number is the same, IIRC it is not actually the same transmission. However not overheating the transmission is always solid advice. :)

Oh didn't know that I just remembered reading here somewhere that u could swap your first gear with a windstars for more pull. I stand corrected.
