I believe I am getting to the happy medium between cost and performance in my 97' SHO.

My next step is to find an awesome ground kit; something similiar to the "Rage 2000" kit that never made production or the "Ultimate Taurus" kit that was likely digital created (for those of you who haven't see the ULTIMATE SHO, it's also at my homepage- just created so not much content)

SOMEBODY HELP!

Thanks
Larry

That's a cRaZy looking "ultimate taurus"!!! Wild, is all I can say about that.

I don't know where you would be able to find anything for the SHO as far as ground kits go. I haven't seen anything in my searches.

I do think that Paul Nimz (SHOZ123) has some side skirts on his SHO. He may be able to help you possibly?!?!

Good Luck

Sam

Thanks Hochness,
That's EXACTLY what I want people to say after they look at my car ---and clean the drool from their mouth!

I hope this topic stays hot - eventually someone might know where to find the cRaZy style i'm looking for.

Still Searching,
Larry

what are you willing to spend? for parts, paint and installition?

SHOFAST was going to do a kit but I think due to the cost it wasnt a great idea. But if enough people wanted them Im sure they could be done.

Thanx for handling this one Kirk . Yes we actually have been working on 2 diffrent prototype Rage kits but this project might come to a end. We need atleast 15 people willing to do this and cost will be between 1800- 2500 a kit they wll also still have to be painted and installed. So please email Kirk or I if you are interested on these. Once we get 15 people we will collect deposits and make the mold and and then everybody can have the look they want. The reason we need so many people lined up is the cost of doing the molds this process is very costly. Also this kit will include front cover, rear cover and new side skirts and will be a direct fit for all 96-99 sho's and slo's.

It is really expensive to make the ground kits because of the mold. I've heard from a manufacturer to make one mold would actually cost around $20,000 to $30,000 that includes R&D, Labor, Paint, & etc.
So $1,500 to $2,000 is about right for 15 people. But if 30 people would commit it would be cheaper. Just a thought. :)

Someone posted a link in the other body kit thread (in off-topic) to a webpage with a how-to on creating a foam mold to make a fiberglass nose.

Just be careful with fiberglass kits, they crack much easier than the poly bumper covers we have.

who asked for an opinion on the logo?
but since you asked...typically the Taurus in the Zodiac world(horoscopes silly) is a Bull. Kind of like Mustang is another way of referring to certain horses. so we have taken on the face of the bull as our logo. too bad all you guys get is letters :( why are some of you guys nice but others are jackasses at the drop of a hat? just wondering. BTW I always thought your white gen3 was the BOMB tool thumbs_u

any interest in the body kit guys?
