Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity of the autolamp sensor in these cars? I currently feel that it turns on the lamps at a level that's later in the day than it should for visibility reasons (not illumination reasons). Especially when it's overcast and in the middle or late evening, my lamps still don't automatically come on when I feel they should already be on.

I know the sensor is in the middle of the dash and I could probably jury rig some kind of tint or film over it, but if there were a way to adjust the sensor to come on at a lower threshold of light than it does using the computer, I'd much prefer that.
