Aurora?

The Oldsmoblie Aurora, is this car faster than a SHO? I think the HP on the olds is 270 something?

Car and Driver tested a 96 SHO. Got 16.1, 87mph. tested 2002 aurora got 15.9 89mph

well..I personally ran a 15.7 bone stock..(which isn't that stellar if you ask me). I've never seen an Aurora run in person, but IIRC the big difference in in the weight of the Aurora...that's why I wouldn't be shy to race one. Infact, last time I was at the track, I tried to get a guy in an Aurora to race me. He said, "Naa..I dont' race this...V8, FWD..not a good drag car". I told him, "no shit...I'm in the same boat..why not?!" lol Oh well..I guess the, "It's just a Taurus" phrase didn't work that time...(sigh).

97 SHO: 3326lbs 240hp (yes I know that's wrong)

there are 2 different last generation Auroras. one is 4.0 engine, the other is a 3.5 .I have seen them both,I have raced neither. They say engine type on the back by the license plate.
