Atx Tranny Shift Knock!

[94 SHO OFF]

my 94 SHO ATX shifts hard from first to second, its hard enough where you feel the car jolt. It only does it in that gear and the car runs smooth before and after the knock. It doesnt matter what RPM im at when it does that but I found out it does it less at a cold start. Does anyone else have this problem or can please help me solve the problem??

Trans Knock........

My 94 ATX Opal frost did the same thing. I found out later it was the VSS. Once replaced, it was gone. Good luck!
