I recently performed a valve gap job on a 1995 ATX and after the owner informed me that the speedometer wasn't working, found the lower speedometer cable to be disconnected from the transmission end. I looked from above, from below and with a mirror and could not see the location where the lower cable mounts to the transmission. Could someone please give me a clear description of the location of the hole where the cable inserts into the transmission?

It plugs into the VSS on the rear of the transmission. The VSS just look s like a sensor plugged into the tranny with a 2 lead electrical connector on it.
