My shifter cable is frozen solid, I can actually feel it try to pull all the way to the transmission end, but inside the grey shield it won’t move and is completely stuck. Is there any aftermarket reman or should I hope I can find one at a pick a part?

I'm looking and having a hard time finding the part number. There used to be sites dedicated to oem part numbers. My general guess without a good part number is that you will need to try and find a used one. I would contact shosource and see what they have on file as far as part numbers and sometimes they have leads on used parts. Also you can try Dan Barbush SV&HOdan and see what he has as far as donor vehicles for parts. You can find him posting in the classifieds section mostly https://shoforum.com/index.php?members/sv-hodan.1350/

Yeah they have access to some things not on the site and sometimes also have info that can help. Good luck and post back with what you find. Also track down Dan. His prices are always very good vs elsewhere.

Try squirting some silicone lubricant into the cable and work it free. If this is something that just happened then it might not be too difficult.

I'll get you a Ford part number tomorrow and tell you if any dealers show it.

It appears to be obsolete but this is the part number if you want to search for a new one. FODZ-7E395-B

Another quick search didn't come up with anything. Hopefully Chad has one sitting on a shelf somewhere in his network. I would plan on used unit or repair this one.
