Has anyone ever replaced these....The Ford CD says you need a special tool in order to remove the metal seal protector...... I bought the BUILT ATX TRANNY(FPS Style) w/TC and axles from jon93 and I need to replace the seals.......please HELP........

You can pull them out with the same process you pull out the crank main seal, etc. - you drill a couple of small holes in the seal, screw in a small sheet-metal screw, and pull on the screw to get it out. In some cases, you can actually get these out by just prying on them w/ a screwdriver. do not despair - you can do it.
