OK, it is killing me in the desire for more power department.

Give me the lowdown on the Supercharger if you could and have time. I would like to know about the gains, labor involoved, and finally the price.

Thanks for your help....

Wonder how turbo would be in our cars as well. I would perfer a supercharger because of the power at an earlier level that they produce.

Also, don't worry, it would not be a novice installing it. I have a couple local shops here that would love to tackle it. One can do a custom turbo set-up as well from the ground up.

Thanks Kirk for responding. (Glasses?)
As for the Turbo, I would prefer a turbo myself, but the intercooler plumbing, whether you chose a liquid to air or air to air would be a nightmare. Add that to the additional heat you would be introducing under the hood and it just wasn't really worth the time needed for me to get this one protyped. This was was much quiker and cheaper to get going first. :D

Unless it's a roots type blower, I don't think it will produce boost any faster than a turbo. The volvo 850 turbo I drive fairly regularly makes its peak torque at something crazy like 2500rpms (max TQ being 221).

Actually the centrifigal blower makes power just as fast as the roots, just not as efficiently. The gearing used including the drive puley determines when the power is at 100% on a supercharger. A turbo has to wait until enough exhaust flow is produced before it is at max power rpm. Smaller Turbos produce the power sooner but at the loss of total volume.
The Roots type blower has less resistance in its design of the vanes then a centrifigal by the way.
