The V6 is an iron block with aluminum heads.

The V8 is an aluminum block with aluminum heads.

That is what I though. I knew the new SHOs were all alum., but I was wondering about the gen 2/1

Gen 1/Gen 2 Cars have the iron block V6 with aluminum heads. Hope that helps.
