Ok, this weather here in Michigan has me down and I'm excited for spring!!

What's everyone been working on over the winter or how about plans for spring?

The board hasn't been too exciting as of late and I think we need to change that!!

I have the winter blues too. We had beautiful 55 degree weather just a few days ago, and then we get 12" of snow on Sunday. Blizzaks performed awesome on i-75 though from the Joe. I was doing 15-20mph faster than anyone else and I never felt the tires slip once.

Im also waiting on a new grill, and have been tossing the tune back and forth. I know I will love it, but im still stuck on the warranty thing. I dont have an in at any dealers so if anything bad happens I will be stuck paying for it. I swapped the puddle lamps and license plate bulbs with leds, installed a lock pick, but thats been it for winter. Besides that I bought a few new guns, but thats been it for winter.

On the plus... Next week I'm tinting my windows to 20%
I'm also thinking about painting my calipers....ford should have at least did this cause they look like crap....

Yeah...this is the first time winter is really bothering me. I think because I was just starting to make headway on the car.

I have a radiator and tstat. Really just trying to find an engine/trans right now (for a decent price)

Would also like to rework the audio system.

Many more companies starting to work on parts so that's at least a little bit of good news

Damnit damnit damnit Bill...... you reminded me about the lockpick.

Fudge! Hey how was it to install may I ask? Have you considered creating a "how-to" thread on it's installation?

If not, please PM with any install hints, details, or problems you came across when doing so.

Now I gotta research where that thread was at for those things. If I recall it was like $200 or $250 right?

It's an easy install, you just have to take some of the dash and center console apart. Theres a how to on here somewhere without pictures. I followed that without any issue.

Where are you buying your emblems from?

An unfortunate set of circumstances brought me to AZ in mid-January, and settling the estate is taking longer than expected (not like my bro & I are busting our ***** on it, either!), but sitting in AZ from January until early March has made the winter totally "OK"!! Did the brakes on the LGT yesterday, and I'll probably through a coat of wax on the LGT and the Grand Prix (Dad's car going to my wife) this week.

If I time it right, I might hit MI again in mid-March when things are a "bit" better (and Lapeer Dragway usually opens by then).

Kind of a mixed bag. I would like to live out here, but it's too damn far from the folks I hang with, and all of the car activities. I could never do Florida (can't take humidity), but getting a break from one of the nastier winters on record has been sweet.

Still waitin' on my new SHO -- they say within 2 weeks -- just in time for some decent weather I hope.

Waiting for it is a Livernois tune from Rick and an AirAid from David to be installed a week or so after delivery.
Possible Corsa exhaust after that.

Looking forward to that has gotten me mostly thru the winter along with spending mucho time on here.

A little boring for most of you guys but I'm here just trying to catch up.

Cheers for all the info everyone.

Lock Pick is sitting in my garage, awaiting all my dash removal tools.

Cost here in FL (sales tax charged) was around $264. with shipping.
They include a package of jelly bellys ( like 12 beans). Guess that's to keep me happy when I am swearing at the dash!

Waiting for a mid-pipe with x from NESHO... but Kirk's spent his winter plowing snow! Brick won't accept full catsback from Corsa or Borla due to differences in wheelbase etc. So....havta do it custom... even if it's only "Noise Fluff". Rear Magnaflows have been on for over 15K.

Been to the Strip down here twice. Last week my times were off a bit, likely due to 81 deg and sunny. However, my last run, I got off an under 2. 60 ft, and was beating a Chrysler SRT8 after 1000 ft. Did get a little reaction time jump, but still..... Nice guy... said he had dyno't 426 RWHP. He's usually in the low 13's. Beat me by less than a length. My top end has been sucking lately. Does anyone know of an aero front clip for my Brick???? Ha Ha. Still... it's amazing what 213 CI and 5K can do with a couple turbos for help.

Didn't get time to install Livernois Stage 4 due to track delay issues. So I don't have a comparison with Unleashed Tuning... Yet.

Also wanting to do things to my G8 Gt, like VIM and backup camera. JHP systems are around $500. w/o camera ($100), so lock pick is a steal! Still haven't had it to the strip, and it has many more mods than Brick....

Watched a new style CTS-V sedan turn a 11.5.
