yeah i guess i really don't know where
maybe if we all brain-storm we can think of a happy medium!!
maybe someone can finish my sentence " how about we meet in ??????? "

"out in the sticks" doesnt give us a clear idea of where you have to come. Exactly where do you reside? I do not plan on luring you into my windowless van with promises of candy. So just the city/town/village will do. ;) :p :thumb:

Never even heard of it. I had to map quest that shit.

Your closer to duluth then the TC, but not by much. if you drew straight lines it'd be pretty close. You are definitely out there man.

Alexandria is about half way between you and I. I would be up for it, as long as its on a weekend that i have off. The only thing is, is that there are a few guys that are from further south as well.

TC = Twin Cities.

It looks ike there are about 6 hotels in the area of Alex as well. I think i would just make a night of it at that point. Would probably bring the g/f and son as well.

On second thought, Brainard would be closer for the guys on duluth as well. Looks like it would be about even for everyone.

Once they see the mocha dash they would run away anyways.

So you dont think you'd make it at all this summer? Not even once? I wasnt talking about Brainard for this weekend, i was thinking mabey June or July.

Forgot to add,my car is a 94.

Thats why i tinted windows, and only drive at night. My dull paint scares them well before the interior does. When i pulled the ford emblem on the trunk it was a darker shade of red, and i know thats what color the rest my car used to be.

Isnt mocha the coffee stain tan? I've got grey. Cousins green atx beater has mocha. ive never seen it cleaned up but his looks like shit.

Oh i mean for the 4/18 meet. I Plan on making it to atleast a couple.
Hopefully you guys can get a bigger turn out this year. Id like to drive some nice twisty scenic roads. Not that my car handles well, quite the opposite. Id like to go to the brainard track alot this summer but not to run. Any SHOs in the 14's in mn?

Showdown at 12 Noon!!

Let me rephrase that. Are there any WHOLE SHO's in MN in the 14's?
Say Joe, My car ran in the 14' teens before I took out the insides. Dont forget guys, I have been a drag racer since 1969!! :3gears: If I didn't know better I might think you are having a case of sour grapes? :boohoo: Eh? You sure have bought a nice car though!! :thumb: Mark

I was quite sure that you were indeed in the mid 14's, but wasn't positive. Im assuming your the sole MN SHO to accomplish said feat? Anyone else run their SHOs at brainard? Id be willing to give it a whirl but id be afraid of seeing a 15.8 or some shit.

Seems like everyone i know is either A.) Not as capable a drive as they think of themselves or B.) Their not putting down the power they say they are.

Why do i say this? Because everyone i know runs times slower then they should. Or atleast slower then what i think they should run. I have a friend who beat a stock EVO in his turbo integra on the street. Watched it with my own eyes, yes from a dig. evo is what, high 13 second car? Yet the turbo integra only ran a 14.0-14.4 at brainard. Am i missing something? Is brainard at a high elevation?

Its not just the turbo teg. Ive seen mustangs that should be in the 13's that arent. Maybe its because the only track is so far from duluth. I'm imagine its hard to be a capable driver on a track you go to once a month if your lucky. I know id have some troubles.

I'm just yankin your chain Mark. If i recall though, i have seen close to stock SHO's run a high 14. I just don't know if i could bring myself to run my car down the strip. I have this certain attachment to my transmission.
