I met him last year, and he says he bought it from some older guy...he can't remember the dude's name. Valve covers and intake are painted, and there's a cone air filter sealed off from the engine bay under the hood, it's got a pair of flowmasters under the rear bumper. Judging by the amount of RTV between the valve covers and heads, I can only assume they've been welded. It's also got 13" brakes, drilled and slotted...tried to get a pic of them, but my camera phone blows.

Anyone know who's this is?

B. King's gunmetal SHO.

B. King's SHO from Ohio...worse from wear it would appear.

Ticks me off that I never made the time to see that car in person seeing as it lived about 40 minutes from me...

Looks like the wheels in the spy photos were changed, but the paintwork on the molding pieces and such looks like a ringer to me.

I know Brian was wanting to buy his car back about a year ago, but for some reason didn't go through with it.

That car looks stunning. I have a couple of questions about it if anyone can answer. Where did the hood come from? The only cowl hoods I have seen offered have to use hood pins and I don't see any pins on that one. Are the graphics on the cowl painted or is that decal that is available somewhere?

CincySHO is where the hood came from I believe. There were a few group buys a couple years ago.

I have seen them before without the pins as well. I believe Willie's car also does not have pins.

This one looks like the fiberglass ones [email protected] used to sell. Might still if anyone contacted him. He sold them through Cincysho too. Wish I could have parted with the coin to get one. Looks really good.

The hoods like that also came from from SHO Fast Performance years ago. He is now out of business and anyone who has had an SHO for awhile will know why. His came without pins too. I have a hood still bubble wrapped in my garage awaiting the return of my "project" SHO from Doug. Had it now for almost three years! Glad I got it when I did because they seem to be REALLY hard to find nowadays......

I'd LOVE to get one of those hoods. The slope of the sides of the cowl make all the difference in the world to me - don't care for the straight vertical sides of the SHOSource gen 3 cowl hoods.
