Could someone tell me which/what brand of alarm this is ? provide instuctions on operation? (Sorry my pics suck)
I have no identifying marks on anything I can find anywhere(except 2-9V batteries?). There is a shock sensor in the column area under the cover (not pictured) that's adjustable and you can see the Toggle on/off switch (I moved, hence, the hole in column cover) and what looks like a Earphone Plug-in under the steering column cover. There is also a Siren under the hood which = Aftermarket alarm and I do not have any remotes either.

BTW, after alot of searching, I think the "plug thingy" may have been a "disarm button" at one time but was broken off by the previous owner(s).

Please look at the pics (click) and see if it looks familar to you as I would like to find info (brand/ model) on this unit and how to operate it or in worst case, remove it.

the car = 90 mtx, no keyless or keyless remote entry of any kind!
(again, sorry for the fuzzy pics!)

TIA for any help!!

find an FCC number on there somewhere and start searching the internet for the company that registered it.

That wiring job looks dangerous. I don't like the wires extending out of the fuse box like that. Are you removing it?

Thanks for the replies!
ManySHOs -
Yeah, not a good install at all, I'll have to rewire it if it stays... but doubtful tho.

Guess I'll have to open it up to find numbers as there are none on the outside anywhere and maybe there is other clues to the brand and model in there also!

Thanks, I'll look into Bulldog Alarm Systems and see if I find a match(older stuff I'm sure)... What does CSK stand for?

BTW all, what's up with the 2-9V batteries? ... this thing Must be pretty old!

OK, I was digging around and pulled the shock sensor and low-and-behold, there it was... "SS-1 code alarm shock sensor" written on the top side where I couldn't see it before I cut the tie-strap and pulled it down! Anyone have one of these installed?

I can't seem to get the thing to "Go Off" now with the 2-9V batteries disconnected but, I will try again with new batteries. I want to see if that broken button is indeed a dis-arm switch for sure (I verified it is a button of sorts and not a plug-in). I am still unsure of how this thing is suppose to work (arming and dis-arming and all) so any help with instructions (install or operation manual) would still be appriciated.

Thanks again

BTW: those wires to the fuse box (that looked so sabby) were for a trunk mounted Cell phone system that use to be in the car but the main unit and handset were removed before I got the car... yeah, I pulled the wiring out.

Sooo, on to the info search...

EDIT-
I found out there was another box further up in the dash(the Main Box) with a name and some numbers.

Code Alarm Model 717 plus (on the unit)
and 2 small white stickers with
A6318F2BX
ACF1E761X
...I'm still looking for the FCC number( ??).

I've searched all over the internet and haven't found anything that matches the brand and model or numbers anywhere! (found Chapman/Code Alarm and other sites but no 717 plus). I searched thier sites and finally send several emails to Code Alarm (and others) for info on the make and model.

~ Can anyone help now with the Info I have added?
Thanks!

Yeah, does look kinda rigged... tick tick tick ... haha!

actually, that was the cell phone wiring... They've been removed. The alarm isn't visible connected to the fuse box at all. (tapped in elsewhere)

heck, anybody got some old code alarm remotes laying around... maybe I could find one that would work by chance...

... anyone, anyone...???
