A trans cooler is common , one size fits all.
(or one brand fits all)

Look for local parts for brand new (and good price)

Doesnt matter for what car , those are usually made for trucks hauling heavy stuff.

yeah just get a stacked plate type design... or one that looks like a radiator or such... it has two endtanks and the fluid just flows from one side to the other...

other ones are more like a condesner and the tubes snake back and forth multiple times before reaching the end... this gives a drop in pressure from all the resistance........

Thanks guys, and I do realize there are several options out there.

A good v8 friend recommended the GenII due to it's size, so why re-invent the wheel?

Arlington Auto Salvage (which actually isn't in Arlington lol) has a couple of Gen 2's I believe. It's been awhile since I've been there, but it's the only junkyard I go to in Jax. All others are pricey for what they have, or the people working there are jerks. Rusty Acres almost always has SHO parts, but they are on the pricier end of the used parts cost spectrum.

Isn't the stock ATX cooler a stacked plate design? I've never payed attention.

could be.... ford vans and trucks have them..........

if used on a bad tranny though they can get contaminated/clogged... I would just get a new one, its only like 50 bucks.......

mine might be going through the radiator, then it has an aftermarket(the sh!tty style) cooler..... it looks like someone replaced my oem one with a worse, albeit larger cooler.
