Any tips on hood alignment?

Just put another hood on my 92 and I am going to align it tomorrow. Any tips? It seems that the hood will move forward and backward at the top bolts (hood to hinge). So side to side on the bottom (hinge to fender)?

dude just align it, move it around until it looks good, there's really no science to it.

You can use a painter's stirring stick to get the gaps to match up. Also remember that you can move the hood latch and bumper's to change the height at the front.

Best luck I had aligning mine (which is all F'd up in front) was remove the lift struts, loosen the rear bolt to where it is free to move then loosen the top/front bolt just enough to where with some force you can move it. If they are too loose then yo will never get the hood up to tighten them without losing the alignment.. you really shouldnt have to worry about side to side too much, I didnt atleast.
