Any suggestions on pricing a SHO motor.

Hey guys,

I have a 2010 SHO motor with 16K on it that came out of my Taurus. I looked all over Craigslist, Ebay, ect...To try and find what a motor like this is going for. However, I can't seem to find any. So I'm looking for some suggestion on pricing it. If you guys can help me out that would be great! Once I get an Idea, I'm going to post it here for sale after making the proper donation and getting the listing approved.

Go to some used auto parts shopping bots and price them out. I see from 2700 up to 5000.

Almost looks fixable.... How did you acquire the engine? Normally Ins Co gets everything for a settlement.

Does look repairable even though the air bags deployed. Can't believe that the insurance company won't repair it since it's probably still valued mid to high $20,000s. Least the expensive headlights look to be fine. Hope everyone inside was and is OK now.

The car was fixed. Here it is now. It took over 4 months to get it done to my satisfaction. Which included many trips back to the dealer for repeat repairs. At a cost of $24,875! I must say that now, the car is back to its original condition and I am very pleased.
