Well i started putting in the Ps2 with the 7inch LCD screen today, everything was going great until two wires touched that should not have.... Now last time i did this :bonk: I just blew a fuse, poped it out, put in a new one then everything was ok. Now this time, the fuse did blow i removed it and put a new one in, but that did nuthing? I have no interior lights, the clock lights up but no numbers, the ashtray night works but not the lighter, and no dome lights or door light? What should i look for now?

Which fuse?

F8 supplies the clock, power mirrors, and all the courtesy lamps.

F12 supplies the cigar lighter and the horn.

Both of these fuses (and several others including the headlight circuit) are fed from fuse link D (16 ga black) which is located at the starter relay. If your headlights work, the fuse link is okay. If not, link D is spliced to a BLACK/ORANGE wire.

You should always disconnect the battery when doing electrical work.
ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE BATTERY WHEN DOING ELECTRICAL WORK.

You can avoid these types of problems with simple prevention.

That is why I asked the question I did.

If you answer such questions, assistance is much easier to provide.....
