this just recently started. going into a lefthand turn without touching the brake pedal, the ANTILOCK light illuminates. if i touch the brake exiting the turn, its only on the upstroke that the ABS kicks in (felt in the pedal only).

the light also comes on over rough roads, but i would expect that with a tight suspension.

just yesterday, when it came on, it stayed on.

i checked all of my wheel sensors and theyre tight. perhaps the RR sensor lead is getting tight as the left side of the car decompresses ?

is there any way i could run the codes on the Anti-Lock without the light being on ? or, where might i start looking for problems ?

TIA

Have you checked all the connections at the ABS computer??
maybe there is something up with the metering of the proporting valve, sending a wrong signal, and having the effect that ABS is needed...
just a thought...
other than wheel sensors, i cant think of anything else... and that the bad thing too... as you probably allready know, that if it is a wheel sensor, it wont give which one it is... and they are pricey, IIRC...

Its not likely that a sensor wouldnt be "tight" as they are pretty tough to get loose. What I have had problems with is the wires on the end of the sensors getting a bit worn. I bit of wiggling will turn the light on. Check all connectors throughout.
