my sho hasnt any cats .. i was wondering if i put in a high flow cat after the flex and remove the resonator would that quiet my car down a lil .. i know the origial setup was a 2 cats in to 1 pipe then flex then the car and resonator ... just tryn to get the rasp down a lil bit

im running 40 series flowmasters .. i know ht rasp isnt from the mufflers as i had it before i put them on ... will having just 1 cat in line hurt performance any ? and i dont mind loud just rasp .. i hateee

Well, its not really going to influence your performance a lot regardless. Some say the lower end is actually hurt a bit by getting rid of the cats, others do not indicate any real change overall. So putting some form of cat back into the system is not going to do you any damage, could easily help with the sound problem, and certainly will help all of us breathe better down the road, since that is what they were for in the first place. Sounds to me like a win all around. :)
