Hi, my name's Brian.
I thought I would introduce myself since I'll probly spend a lot of time on here researching on how exactly I'm going to pull this off. You see, I'm trying to build a Shogun out of a Geo Metro for the October lemons race here near Chicago. The build is already underway and it's apparent that I'm going to have to find some connections here if I want to get it done.

Welcome

We raced LeMons 4 times and Chump Car once - I guess that makes us "five time losers".

There is a lot of info on the forum to pick from. Document your costs and build status well for the judges (and the forum). LeMons likes frankencars, so I hope you can pull off the build.

Autobahn C.C. in Joliet.

I'm in Romeoville.

I'm in dire need of the SHO wiring diagram right now. If anybody in the area needs any parts hit me up! We need the money and you'll feed a good cause. Interior is Black.

This car was meant for this race. Even came with Neon!

Is the donor SHO MTX or ATX?

Also, I believe the Forum rules say that you need to post in the appropriate classified section in order to part out a car to users here.

didn't someone do a GT40 kit car with the V6 SHO? Sounds like it'd be a similar setup.

Im doing the MTX sho swap into a festiva. There are two ways to handle the shifter, one is to pick up a cable shifter from an early car ( some one will swap a rod shifter ime sure) and get some extra long cables from midwest cable, The you have to modify the shifter and tranny cable mount a little . Heres an early mock up

The other way is two take apart the rod shifter, turn the guts anround so the rod comes out the back, then you have to extended it to go under the engine. Its a ridged set up and I tried it but found the cable system easyier to do.

as for the electrical pull the engine and computer harness, most of it will not be used but dont cut too much of yet, only a few wires realy need to be hooked up, power is about it. You would be suprised how much of the wiring IS NOT needed to make a sho swap run.

Started the part out thread.

Nova, I love your work. We'll have to chat soon.

Will start the build thread when things start coming together instead of falling apart. If you google my username, you can see some other cars I've done in the past. This build is already shaping up to be the most fun.
