half-way there, I think.
Hmm... My concern wouldn't be if the intake goes SHO-Boom. It would be if the motor ingests some JB Weld that could flake off. I quess if this is just an exercise to see if it works and the **** with the car if it doesn't, then it wouldn't matter to you in the end

Actaully, I have access to a welder. I just wanted to try this for ***** & giggles. I wanted to challenge myself, and see if this was possible with having no access to specialized tools.

Intake should be plasma cut by next week, then it gets mounted on the car.

Plasma cut?? I think that requires a specialty tool. Keep it real, use a Dremel! :)

How are you making the holes? Are you tracing around heads or the bottom of the runners.

Will you be using JB weld to attach the bottom plate to the heads or intake stubs? (not advisable)

If you're having the bottom plate water jet'd, will you be the owner of the CAD drawing or will it belong to the machinist?

I'm thinking of doing a one piece billet plenum to mount a Whipple charger to the top of the SHO's heads. The pattern for the intake holes on the heads would be helpfull.
