Alright. I have 2 more videos.

Just trying to figure out whats the problem. I have trouble shifting into certain gears. Except 4th in 5th. My shifter also rotates.

I did not notice a problem with the clutch during your video presentation. The car did not seem to shudder; and the point where the clutch engages the engine to the driveline seemed to be fairly high on the clutch pedal stroke (ie, not buried in the carpet at the bottom of the clutch pedal stroke).

Most of your problems are in your shifter. Maybe all of your problems.

Swap in another shifter, or fix the one you have. Only then will you know if there is something amiss with your transmission shift forks or other internal transmission parts.

My bet is a different shifter or having your shifter rebuilt will solve all your problems.

Ok. Cool. Is there anywhere I can get the shifter. Im confused when people say I need a U joint or whatever. Could you explain to me the pieces that I need and where to buy them. Or if there is a whole kit for it. Thanks! Is the U joint the circle piece at the end of the rod thats connected to the shifter?

Put an add in the 'Wanted to Buy" section of this forum and people will contact you with their shifter and a price. That way you get a whole different assembly and you simply bolt it to the bottom of your car (the handle part) and install the U-Joint onto the shaft that comes out of your transmission. That U-Joint is held onto the shaft with a rivet and you grind the head off and knock it out. The strange thing is the rivet has 2 different diameters, so one head is larger than the other. That means you will drill out the hole that the rivet came out of, so you can put a bolt with a nut and washer in where the rivet came from. Just to be clear, the U-Joint is the thing you keep moving around a lot in your video.
I will try to find a "How-To" write-up on the U-Joint replacement.
You can also rebuild the shifter assembly that you have now, and you would go to ShoSource to get the new U-Joint, and they can probably get you a different handle contraption to get you out of the "rotating shifter handle" situation.

Here is a write-up on how to rebuild your U-Joint and it describes the 2 diameter rivet you take out.
http://wikisho.com/wiki/Rod_shifter_U-joint

The ShoSource solution is you just buy the U-Joint new and put it on (less than $50.00).

If you get an whole different shifter from a member of this forum, it will be in good working order, so you don't have to worry about the quality.
You also don't have to worry about the possibility that something is just plain missing from your existing shifter set-up, and by rebuilding certain sections of the system (like the U-Joint), the missing thing will never come to light (like maybe something is missing that allows your handle to do odd things).

Run a "wanted to buy" ad, if you don't like the prices of the shifter assembly, you don't have to buy one.

Ok. So I need to replace the U Joint. I'll buy one off the SHO source. I know the SHO Source doesnt carry a shifter to replace the rotating shifter I have but I'll post that on the wanted section. Since people are saying my shifter is stripped which means it will rotate instead of screwing in. I really appreciate the help! I would have never figure this situation out.

I saw Mike replied to your email about the spinning shifter and he was looking for the parts. It would be cheaper then a whole shifter. Did you reply to him?

If you buy a shifter assembly from someone on this forum, it comes complete, and will have a working U-Joint. The assembly will include the rod that moves and rotates (under the car) and everything you need, like the shifter handle and all the contraption you see under your shift handle when your console is removed.
I think you are missing the difference between a shifter and a whole shifter assembly.
That way, you do not need to do any troubleshooting as to what is wrong.

X2 what sperold said. I think this is a case where you'll have less headaches if you just shotgun the problem by swapping in a complete replacement shift assembly that includes the shifter, shift rods, and u-joint; all together, ready to bolt in. Some prior owner was pretty ******* the shifter in that car!

Oh. So instead of me buying just pieces, it would come with everything I needed. Ok. I understand now.

Ya. I agree with both you guys. And you about prior owners being ******* the car. But some 16 to 18 year old kid owned it and was his first car so he learned to drive standard in this car also lol. Thus car has had some rough times lol.

We should have the quote to you today. We just had to get the part pulled and get a shipping quote.

As for replacing the part versus the entire assembly this will save money and we do know what part is bad. This not a "shotgun" fix. Replacing this part and our updated U-joint will give you a better shifter. A used shifter may be no better then what you already have. We do offer other parts to further fix and upgrade your shifter as well.

So do you guys by any chance have the whole shifter assembly? If not, you're saying I should just replace the shifter and U Joint. Correct?

No we do not have a whole shifter otherwise we would of offered it.

We are offering replacing the bad part to save money. Shifter assemblies typically go for $100 plus shipping.
