After having to replace 3 alternators in 4 months....I have not reinstalled my front strut tower brace from Anonda Motorsports. I decided I am going to part with the bar and I forgot what other Taurus's this bar fits. I tried to visit Anonda Motorsports website.....but there is no longer such a website. Does anyone know what other Taurus's this bar will fit on? thanks!

This bar will fit any 96-99 Taurus regardles of the trim model and if I remember correctly it could fit the 4th Generation too.

Might want to hold onto it, its probably a collctors item. Lot of people paid for them, but very few actually got them.

Could be worth some money.

What am I missing here? Did the FSTB contribute to the alternator failures, or are you just tired of R&R'ing it??

Only problem I know of with the bar is ridding against the power-steering hose...something I'm hoping to cure during this next week..

probably tired of R&R'ing it.

the STB is a chassis issue, the alternator is a ***** in itself but the two are not related.

George, go to an auto parts store and see if they have any scraps of rubber PS/tranny cooler line and snag a 2" piece, cut it once lengthwise and throw it on the metal line ... viola ... no more supercharger sound

To change the alternator, you have to take off the FSTB and after the third alternator failure, I said screw it and never put it back on. :salute: FWIW, mine never rubbed on the power steering line and it was underneath the the steering line.

So it appears the bar will fit all taurus's 96 +. Thanks guys!

i believe that bob moved causing some major delays in making the bars. But right now he doesn't have a job and is finnishing up the bars for the people he owes and is doing a GB over at tauruscarclub and it might be the last time they are made.

how much of a difference did the FSTB make?

A pretty good difference....really tightens things up. I don't have the Aluminum subframe bushings, but I imagine with both, it would be really tight!
