"Ragin' Bull"...rages no more.
Went down to the Dodge dealership here in CO Springs today; I'd been looking around and stumbled across a good replacement...sort of. I'm afraid to say what it is; I can tell you that it's not a Dodge. Not that I would have minded, but they just didn't have anything that I could either afford or that I wanted. (Although that Challenger GT with AWD and the Blacktop Package was looking good...)
So the Bull has been retired. The dealer actually did a really great deal; they gave me $6000 for the Bull, with $4500 applied to the next car and gave me a check for $1500 back. I'm going to end up using almost all of it to get the new(er) car registered, but it's worth it.
It was time.
The Bull was in terrible shape. The windshield was a cracked and chipped mess. The passenger side front door lock was dead. The suspension was shot to ****; every bump caused a cacophony of rattles under the front end. The hood latch was broken, and because of that I was limited to a max speed of 70. Faster than that and the hood would pop up and start fluttering. Worst of all, the seals on the PTU were gone. I was told the car was going to drop dead in about 10k miles if I didn't replace it, and the replacement cost was...well...not good. The broken trunklid wing from a year and 1/2 ago was held on with gorilla tape.
It was time.
It wasn't just a good car....it was the best. Drink with me...To Ragin' Bull.

------enjoying a myriad of drinks tonight on behalf of you, and your retired BULL.
And you are not the first. I too have done the unthinkable and traded away my SHO.
