Two more ideas; 1- that Yamaha engine was used for a little while in offshore 4-stroke outboard motors. I think the 200, 225, and 250hp 4-strokes were all built on the 3.2. I doubt that you can just use the yamaha marine pump since the block is mounted vertically, but looking to the outboard world might turn up some options.

except the 200 outboard, top to prop, weighs less then the sho engine alone, lol

While waiting on the sidelines of the sand drags, The Other Woman gets a lot of looks and comments, mostly because everything is polished and the engraved "YAMAHA" on the billet timing cover.

And when I pull back to the sidelines, it usually goes something like this:

"**** man, you really smoked those other buggies, but why does this say YAMAHA and it says Ford on top?

Because Yamaha made the motor for Ford, I say.

(same guy that just commented on me smokin the other buggies) "Is it fast?"

I get a lot of Yamaha quad riders that slow down when passing me and just stare at the engine and I can almost hear them thinking to themselves, "I thought I GOT the biggest quad that Yamaha makes, that salesman lied to me".

I am 16 and I get alot of crap about it. No one cares that it's an SHO, iy's just a Taurus if anyone asks. AKA "The Box" (+)

I always get no matter how fast it is its still grandmas Taurus, I ignore it all and just say w/e i love my car thats all that matters. Although i will say I have come across a lot of people who know the car and say yeah those things were fast I wouldnt mess with one.

Joe autocrosser (staring at the motor): "Is this thing really just a Taurus? What kind of motor did you swap into it?"

Me (with a straight face): "That my friend is a special edition V6 high output motorcycle engine made by Yamaha. Took some serious fabrication to get it to fit in a Taurus."

Joe autocrosser: "Seriously?"

Me: "Damn straight. My grandma took it off her bike and gave it to me."

I beat up on my friend's 2005 Mustang 4.0L with catback flowy on it. Spun in first scratched second, I was looking at front of fender when we quit. He was just a tad on the embarrassed side. He still has trouble admitting it. When I getthe Y-pipe in I am gonna take my other buddies Honda Accord 3.0L V6, Intake, Mufflers, BODY KIT! lol, etc.
