Replacing timing belt and I did not do a good job marking it's original position. The phoenix project shows the a new belt that is marked and all you have to do is line it up with the marks on each of the sprokets. My question is does anyone no what belt has the marks on it. They list the following as parts for the 60k.

Gates T248, RockAuto.com $38.79
Cloyes B248, RockAuto.com $35.89

Autozone has the following:

Gatorback Front 40248

Will the autozone belt work? Does it have the marks on it?

Let me jump in.....pull off your upper timing belt cover, flip the lil lid and loosen your timing belt....then just align the marks behind the cam sprokets and align your crank via lower timing belt cover....

...you think it's hard that way, I haven't had a timing belt cover in 3 years...I've gotten to the point to where I can pretty much eyeball the crank for timing...but I still pull the #5 plug and use the old "vacuum-line-in-the-plug-well" method of finding TDC.....

There's two marks on the lil shield behind the cam sprokets at the 12 o'clock position. Also, there are two marks on the cam sprokets themselves.....line them marks up. Now...with the crank...I'm assuming you don't have the lower timing belt cover on.....yank the #5 plug (front bank that you can get to without yanking the intake, middle plug) and stick that piece of vaccuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator down the plug hole....after you pull the plug, of course.....now, rotate your crank using a 3/4" socket...rotate it clockwise until that lil piece of tubing won't go no higher...then back the crank up about a gnat's *** hair.....there's TDC....throw the timing belt back on, put the spark plug back in and see if she fires.

There is a mark on the crank sprocket just like the ones on the cam sprockets. Line it up with the notch at about 5 o.clock on a dial on the block. Just follow SuperHO's directions on the cams.

To answer your question: The Gates belt is the one to use, it has the proper marks on it.

Simply line up the two cam sprokets so that the dimples are facing up (12 oclock position), so that they line up with the pressed mark on the plate behind them.

Rotate the crankshaft so that the dimple on the timing gear lines up with the dimple on the oil pump (approx. 5 oclock).

The new Gates belt will have two white lines for the cam shafts, line the white lines up with the dimple. It will also have two lines for the crankshaft, they will be labeled 3.0 and 3.2 respectively. Line up the white 3.2 line with the dimple on the crankshaft timing belt sproket. Compress and install the tensioner, and bolt it all back up.

Don't be afraid to rotate the crank and cams with the belt off this is a noninference motor, you won't hurt anything.
