No family should be without them.....special thanks to:

NETVIPER who graciously supplied the last set of bushings for the standard price of 100 sumolians.

KURT METROS and his very cool web page with the step by step instructions.

ONE OTHER MEMBER: to whom I cannot recall actually photographed each step and had them up on a site that is now unavailable.

Total install with phone calls and photographs took 3 1/2 hours (bout 30 of that was break time, and switching music CD's. Sub frame alignment was a piece of cake.

COmments: I feel like I am more in tune with the road and with the engine as the sponginess is gone. Recall had been done on my car, and the bolts were in good shape, however the washers were bent and rusted. Rubber was separated in the rear.

Mike,

Glad they worked out for ya. Sounds like ya love em :) which I knew you would. Everyone loves them.... even my winterbeater is gonna get some of them

that is of course if I can ever get the clutch done.
thankfully I have the help of someone with a garage, so that helps.

I should have more sets available in about another week. so hopefully alot of ppl will be lined up waiting for them :)

Bruce-

Got mine in yesterday - took me two hours (thank God this car's been so well-maintained!) from wheels off to wheels on. I also aligned my subframe, so now I need an alignment, but not bad.

I reused the front bolts, as they looked good. Is OK? I'm going to retorque today, since I've driven it pretty hard since installing. My old rears were coming apart - I don't know why my subframe was still attached to the car, actually. I'll post pictures -

After reading the other thread here about AL SFB's - my question is if you were going to replace only one pair, why wouldn't it be the rear? The rears take most of the load from the heavy acceleration, right? I've certainly lost a good bit of thumping and clunking from my front end, and with no noticeable increase in vibration. Handling is so good up front I can now tell how bad I need the GTP arms and H-brace. Guess that'll be on my Christmas list...

If you haven't done this mod - just do it! Best bang for the buck yet!
