Do they make Altezza lights for the SHO? I have a 93 silver SHO and i think Altezza's (or similar) would look sweet on it!!

Post a link if you have one! Thanks! :)

They dont make them.

I have been contacting companies about headlights and so far the best I got was a company that said that they might do it if we got 250 people.

That's one of the things I like about having a SHO. They don't make any products like altezza tail lights. I agree in thinking it would look very ricey. The stock look of a SHO is pretty close to being perfect as it is. I'm just not a fan of altezzas. I guess there not for me.

Awww :( LOL I suppose on any other color, it would look a little "ricey", but I think on Silver it would look nice. I do agree tho, there's just something about the SHO's when you see them from behind. They have that subtley mean look. I put Altezza's on and suddenly its modded out! Thanks for the input! :)

Guys, there are no altezza style lights for the taurus. We are trying to find modifications for a motor that is no longer being made and parts are discontinued daily. There is no way that we (taurus community) would get enough interest for it.

There was a group buy about 9 months + ago that went under.

The only way to do something is to become creative and do it youself

I am currently making my own clear tail lights. It's easy and anyone with patience can make them if they want to try. First go to an automotive or home improovment store and get all the items I list. Now on to the good stuff. Just take the lights out and smash them in. (Fun Part) After that clean them up with a rag and water. Use your dremmel tool to get out the excess plastic lense and the remaining glue. Then get some spray paint. Chrome is good (5 or so coats, let each dry) or high gloss black. That is what I am using. Make sure it's at least 65 degrees when you paint. Next make your own designs (circles or other shapes) with red reflectors. You know this kind of stuff... http://www.partsamerica.com/Product...artnumber=94449 Or get a sign shop to cut vinyl graphics. I am getting a shop to cut SHO in red reflective vinyl. I will be putting this on the sides of the tail lights so there is reflection from the side. When you finnish the shapes cut a hole just big enough for your bulb to get through. I recomend using red LED light bulbs. I am also putting in a bunch of single red LED bulbs around the reflector in a circle. This will look great. Glue them to the back of the light housing. This is kinda tricky since it is not flat. Take your time. Then just get out your Plexiglas, (yes I spelled it right.) otherwise known as polycarbonate. Cut it to just a bit bigger than the size of your lights. You might want to consult a pro on this matter. Polycarbonate is very fragile when being cut. (Better safe than sorry.) Preheat your oven to 300-400 degrees. Stick in the Plexiglas and watch it carefully. Should only take about 30-50 seconds for it to become soft. Don't keep it in too long because it can also warp. You can also heat it up with a hair dryer. Have the housing handy so you can bend the Plexiglas over it to form the shape. Don't touch the surface cause you will put finger prints on it. Then get out the dremmel again and cut those grooves into the Plexiglas very carefully. Or again have a prof. fabrocate it for you. Place the Plexiglas over the housing to make sure it fits. If it doesn't then get some more Plexiglas and start over. If it does then get out the clear epoxy and glue it tight. Sand off anything extra. When you hook your lights up you will need some resistors so your "Lamp Out" light stays off. I am not an expert on electronics so I would consult a prof. on this matter. If all goes well and you have the patience you should have some kick @$$ tail lights. I will post some pictures soon when I get them finnished. Hope this solves all your problems with the clear tail lights.
