Alternator Swap?

Has anyone swaped out a 93 mtx alternator with a 94 atx?

It's not a "direct" swap.

Different harness. Different alternator. Different mounting brackets.

So besides the obvious differences will it affect the ecm or anything else electrically powered?

no.

The easier upgrade is to go to a 94-95 MTX 3g alternator. Requires the front motor mount/ac/alt bracket and an adapter harness though.
