alternator replacement help

97 SHO, 115,000 miles. the alternator died, i have the new part, but it's quite hard to get to the old one. i need a link to a diagram or instructions, and i would appreciate it if they were in layman's terms, as i haven't done anything major since my dad's '66 mustang. thanks.

Try searching v8sho.com. There's a bunch of info up there. Never did an alternator myself.
