also looking for a SHO/CSVT

My 99 has been stupid lately, and I left it in Iowa so I've been searching for a DD to get me to graduation in may. I found a 91 in Kingdom City for 800 on CL, post sounds like it runs fine but that seems a bit low to me, maybe I overestimate the demand for 20 year old Taurus's.....

Found a 99 CSVT in Fenton, MO for 2000 (my max limit), that seems kinda low but after searching I've seen a few sell around there.

Any thoughts or opinions? I'm in CoMo and without a car, so getting to Kingdom City would be easy and I could just keep the other 1200 but that seems almost to good to be true, like this sucker is gonna need a lot of work.

I'm in Fenton, so if you need me to scout anything I will. Other than that, its been kinda quiet around here as far as cars for sale. I've always got my eyes open, so If I see anything I'll let you know.

i called the SHO guy, he says he's a certified ford mechanic and has been working at the dealership for 20 years, but says the SHO motors do not need valve adjustments and didnt know what a 60k service was

I'm going to call the CSVT person in Fenton and ask them about that car. I'd kinda like a 3/4 scale 99 SHO to go with my actual one

I'd love to get a TR CSVT as it'll look like my TR SHO's little brother.

i think its down to either a Contour SVT or Oldsmobile Aurora. I'm kinda hoping for a CSVT
