Any help pointing me in the correct direction is appreciated. here are the symptoms im experiencing.

As im driving there is a loud (can barley hear the motor) sound coming from the right side, related to how fast im going. And here is a weird part, if i steer right at speed, enough to take the load off the passenger side, it goes away. If i steer left, it gets worse.

ok, then the next thing. At a slow rolling speed and the vibrating noise from the side goes away, i can hear a little *thunk* noise every tire rotation. There is nothing on the tire itself, and they are a month old. it will also make a louder thunk as it goes over a speed bump.

last, not least.

when i hit my brakes, about 15-20% pressure, when i get down to 10 or less mph, it gives a feedback like a grinding or crunching feel accompanied by a crunch sound.

thats all i can say for now.

and if it will help, the last thing ive done to it is in this order:

solid motor mounts,
aluminum subframe bushings,
slotted rotors and carbon met- pads
new tires.

thanks for any help or advice

-Mike

Jack the wheel up, pull on reef on it to see if it moves any, and then spin it too feel if it feels or sounds bad.

Remove the plastic cover over the strut tower if present. Then push up and down as hard as you can while watching the middle of the strut mount where the strut shaft is for excess movement or noise.

I would vote for the wheel bearing, myself. However, I have had the same symptoms that were cured by simple tightening of my lug nuts in sequential order. It is an easy thing to check, and now I always tighten them myself asap when someone else has done tire work for me. It's a real ****** to see a rim go by at 60 while you're wondering what the big clunk was from.
