Alignment goes off @ around 55 mph...

Whenever Im cruising on the highway, and go highway speeds, the steering wheel doesnt hit centre while the car is going dead straight...If Im not on the highway, like city streets, the alignment is perfect...Its just once I get on the highway and begin doing highway speeds that the steering wheel isnt centred...Id say the steering wheel needs to be a half inch off to the right so the car can travel straight at 90 Km/h (55 mph)

Any idea on whats going on here?

There is either a suspension misalignment, a low tire pressure, a high rolling friction tire or a combination of two or more of these factors. The only way to rule out the alignment is to have the car aligned by a shop that uses a laser or light assisted 4 wheel alignment. The tire pressure can be checked with a gauge. The tire pull can be checked by switching the fronts or backs from side to side to see if the pull changes direction.

A half inch of wheel movement off center is a very small amount and can easily be created by a tilt (crown) to the roadway.

Well, I can rule out the roadway, It does it everywhere...

I will check the tire pressure tomorrow...Although I do it every time I fill the tank, I havent been doing it the past couple of fill ups...

Ive had the car aligned, but not by a shop that used the 4 wheel laser...

Thanks alot...
