Alarm problem

Well I got my motor back in and now I can't start the car. I did get it to start once or so, but the alarm isn't turning off via the keyfob. The keyfob will unlock the doors so its working, but I still have a blinking red light. Whats wrong and how can I fix it? I've been without the car for 3 weeks and I'd love to have it back to normal.

I got it working but I'm not sure how. Is there a procedure for resetting the alarm after the battery has been disconnected for awhile? The alarm was going off when I would hook up the battery. Is there something you have to do? I'm assuming I got lucky. I don't have a manual if you guys say to look there.

Also is there a procedure for getting the air out of the power steering? Or just turn it back and forth for awhile?
