I did a search and came up with nothing. Anyone have any thing good or bad to say about these coils?

I'll probably end up going the Motorcraft route. just curious about these..or other brands people have used.

thanks

I have Wells coils in mine. Can't be any worse than the OEM stuff.

I went online and it is Checkers by me. The cheapest they have is "Visteon Ignition Coil" and that is $81.

I assume then that you're in Denver, and not in Chicago. Murray's here in Chicago has the Wells coils for roughly $70. I have four of them in my car and haven't had a single problem with them.

Murray's

i don't see the Wells brand listed.
IIRC, you must call the toll free number (1-877-808-0698) and speak to a rep to order the Wells brand coils.

unless they've been discontinued :oogle:

Last time I checked Murray's has been bought out by Parts America  and no longer offer the Wells   . There were three others listed. Don't know if any met the correct specs.

Bought 8 Wells a year ago and they have a Lifetime guarantee. I think anyway. That may be history with the buy out too.....

Seems the best thing to do is call Murray's and order. This is what you had to do before The Parts America buy out. The PA but out just opened the door to online ordering using the PA setup and warehousing.

Is the epoxy white or black on the Wells coils with the MC sticker?

All the original Ford ones I've seen are white. Perhaps Ford is using Wells to make them for Mortorcraft now.
