Airbag connector swap

Hey all,

I pulled my crap looking 92 Dash and am replacing it w/a pristine 95. I'm also having to use my 92 wiring (Connectors for the 95 are different under the hood.

here's my issue. the 92 airbag has a different connector than the 95. I need to cut the 95's connector off, splice it onto the 92 wiring harness. Normally, Id just go ahead and do it - I'm a little apprehensive as it's an airbag.

Is the module for the airbag from a 95? Can you use the module from the 92?

I could. If I could figure out how to get the damn airbag out!
