airbag code 42 help

figured it would be pretty simple. according to alldata the fault is for the sensor mounted on the center of the radiator support. swapped it out, airbag light still flashing code 42 in my face. any suggestions ? really dont wanna rip the bulb out.

yep, figured just as much, fooled around with the pins amonst other things...probably gonna pop out the bulb and the module, because i know that thing has a chime of its own if you pull the bulb and call it a day at least till i have time to actually mess with it.

I know its only a 3 wire setup, but i'm indecisive about if i want to slice into the front engine harness and trace them all the way back, and/or run new wires, kinda picky about how shes gonna look under the hood, cars pretty clean and concise, just picked her up..93k interior is 99.5% mint, engine is fully 60ked and dry as a bone, and im putting in powder coated valvecovers and a new plenum in the next couple of weeks so i might do it and i might not, but i appreciate the feedback!

Either you replace the wires, open up the main harness near the air box, this seems to be the place of failure or you remove the air bag light and module.
