Alright... do this.

1. When the car is cold, take off the radiator cap
2. Start the car.
3. Turn on the heat full blast.
4. You will see air bubbles bubbling up through the fill hole. When air stops coming up and the car is at operating tempurature, shut it off and put the cap back on.
5. You are done.

Have fun! :)

A couple questions:
How far should the fill tube be filled up?
Should the overflow tank be filled to the proper level?
How did air get in?
Shold the heater be blowing hot air when doing this?

If you have air trapped in the system.. usually it's from opening the coolant system (I got a bubble when I changed the temp sender). You may not have a thermostat with a jiggle valve (it looks like a little BB in a cup at the top of the t/stat).

In addition to the other procedures to purge air, do this: Grab the upper radiator hose when the car is running and just keep squeezing and releasing it.. it'll force the air around and hopefully push it out too.

The neck of the radiator should have coolant almost to its top.

I usually just fill the overflow to the top, the coolant system knows how much should be in there and it'll kick out any extra if it has to.

The overflow bottle has a Fill mark on it about 1/4 from the bottom unless you know that you system needs additional fluid It would be wise not to fill it much over that. Hence its name overflow bottle. If you fill it all the way or past the half way especialy when the car is cold, your gonna have antifreeze every were when it gets hot and expands out the over flow tube.
