There was a plug i my air box when i removed it, it has a little orange tip on it, I thought it was the maf but i guess not. Well now it is dangling there and i was wondering what is the best thing too do with it?

Its the ACT, measures the temp of the air charge comming into the intake tract. If you have a conical filter some people have drilled a hole in the rear side (not through the filter, through the base), and just stuck it in there.

that is your incoming air temp sensor, you need it, so dont remove it or nothing.

if you put on a cone filter try and jam it in the cone, if you have a cold air can in the fender, drill a hole in the tube and put it in. hope that helps ya.

It depends what are you trying to accomplish. It is the Air Charge Temp. sensor, it needs to be pluged in to drive the car or you will get a CE light. When you put everything back together you need to plug it back in.

I have no air box the air filter is ziptied too the box cover, so can i drill a hole in the cover and fix it too that

You took out the airbox but left the lid?May i ask why?

I figured that it would be suking hot air in but more air, anyways you gotta hear how it sounds, it sounds like a ****** animal once you hit 4 1/2 grand it is adiccting

Well, in that case you're probably pretty save just to clip the wires and remove the ACT sensor (along with any other parts you think will make the car 'sound' better). You should probably remove the bulb from the check engine light in the gauge cluster while you're at it.

LOL ! You no what im acually going too be putting the air box back in in a little while because i would imagine that it is a little more healthy for her. I have been running my car like this for about 15000k. I am goin too leave my cilencer cone out tho.
